DESIGN
Our marquetry boxes have a veneered top and a solid walnut case. The designs have been inspired by contemporary art, as well as traditional geometric shapes. The marquetry uses coloured and natural hardwoods which harmonise perfectly together.
Our solid, sustainable walnut boxes have been inspired by the cut faces of a precious stone and designed for a special occasion, such as engagement, anniversary, birthday or Christmas gift. The top and interior surfaces have been veneered with a range of complimentary colours, echoed in the beautiful velvet interior.
MATERIALS
We use solid walnut from a sustainable source and our cases are designed and made with a high level of accuracy to reduce the waste material to a minimum.
Veneers, which are very thin slices of wood, help to conserve natural resources and are therefore environmentally friendly. They are dyed using a process that penetrates through the entire thickness
of the wood, ensuring that our boxes will look
vibrant and beautiful for many years to come.
QUALITY
Our boxes are made by hand in our workshop in the
heart of the Somerset countryside using a combination of traditional making techniques and modern machinery.
